Veteran for Musgrave

I have the honor of knowing Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave since before being elected as our representative for the Forth Congressional District. I have seen her interact with family, friends and constituents. Recently, at one of her many open houses an opposition group held up the reception line for forty-five minutes. Marilyn patiently took the time to address their issues. Congresswoman Musgrave does indeed listen to all sides of the issues.

I have witnessed many nominations of candidates for office, but none moved me as when Congresswoman Musgrave was nominated for reelection this year. She was nominated by a U.S. Marine who was severely wounded in the line of duty in the War on Terror. He told of how she visited his home several times and paved the way so that he could promptly receive the treatment he needed. The audience was moved to tears and I had goose bumps. Congresswoman Musgrave has personal involvement in the Armed Services as her son serves in the Navy.

Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave is a defender of our rights and personal freedom. She champions lower taxes and is fair to all. We have the honor of being represented by a woman of true character that does not back down from a fight if the cause is just.

I am proud to be listed as a Veteran for Musgrave.
