Study the Constitution

In this era of the sound byte I would encourage parents to teach their children about the Founding documents, The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and especially the Bill of Rights.

America has been systematically brainwashed to believe that the documents contain words and phrases that just are not there. Challenge your children to find the phrase 'separation of church and state' or the word 'education' in the documents. Give them bonus points if they can find the word 'democracy' in our founding documents.

Our Founding Fathers were careful not to form a democracy. When asked what kind of government they had formed, Ben Franklin responded, "A republic, if you can keep it.” Teach your children and perhaps enlighten yourself of the difference between a democracy, which is tyranny by the majority and a republic which is a government ruled by law.

Tyranny of the majority provides no rights to the minority. Basically it is mob rule. It comes in the form of those that want to stamp out rights such as smoking, especially in private establishments, or the ability to legally transfer property such as firearms.

Even worse is tyranny by the minority which is running rampant across the nation. This is perpetuated by Cultural Marxism, commonly known as political correctness. This threatens our free speech and freedom to associate with those of like mind.

America is not what it used to be. The income tax, the privately owned Federal Reserve and government run education are just a few of the many things that our founders warned us would destroy our republic.

Do not let any anyone else's opinions guide your understanding of the Constitution. Read and interpret it for yourself. It only takes a few hours and provides a great topic for family conversation.

We must be vigilant to all forms of tyranny that threaten our culture. Remember, if you do not know what your rights are, you do not have any. Will you take the responsibility to pass the blessings of Liberty to future generations or will you join the clueless masses on the well directed, progressive march to socialism?
