Mattel Pulls Peace-Nik Chatty Kathy Doll

Mattel has pulled the Peace-Nik Chatty Kathy doll off of the shelves. They thought that with all of the press about peace rallies around the United States and the world the Peace-Nik doll would be a raging success. Marketing did not take into account that the market was limited to those people who were actually in the streets. Another reason for the demise of the doll was that the leftist protesters do not believe in capitalism and therefore had no money to buy the dolls.
